Farm & Field
This is a place founded to reconnect with the land, where art, agriculture, and landscape exist in an ongoing relationship. It is a place where we explore reciprocity, laugh, share good food by the fire, and get our hands dirty. Nestled between the Hudson River and the Berkshire Mountains, two hours north of Manhattan, Farm & Field spans 210 acres of forest and active farmland in New York’s Hudson Valley. Established in 1800, the farmhouse and barn have long served as places of gathering, work, learning, and shared knowledge. Today, Jill, her husband Duff, and their two sons continue this legacy of stewardship, caring for the land while deepening their connection to place and process.
Duffy’s art studio and the exhibition space are housed in the hayloft of the historic barn, where her work remains closely tied to the landscape from which it emerges. Farm & Field continues to serve as a space for gathering, conversation, hands-on learning, and engagement with the natural world.
